Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)

Electrical Lab

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering department was established in 1998, the labs are fully established including, Electrical Machines, Electrical Control systems lab, Electrical Measurements lab, Network theory lab and Simulation lab.

One of the student secured GATE 99% and many of the students secured above 90% and few had preferred to join directly in MTech, MBA and PG courses. Some of the students are employed in the power grid, AP Transco, and many private organizations.

A few could go to Australia for further studies, many of the students represented as university team players for cricket, football, running and volley ball etc.

A few have done Industrial projects outside the college. The college Simulation lab is in full swing at the department.

Tours for students took place to srisailam, lower sileru, upper sileru, Nagarjunasagar and KTPS.

The new era of globalization throws up new challenges for the Indian industrialist facing competition from developed countries.

To meet these challenges, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of the Adam's Engineering College offers a B.Tech (EEE) programme that meets the needs of the hour. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of the Adam's Engineering College is established in 1998.

OBJECTIVE

With the ambitious objective of developing professional expertise and skilled manpower that can face various challenges posed by power situations, drives, controls and instrumentation, the Department is constantly on the look out to modernize its laboratories and infrastructure to accommodate the latest trends of world-class research work. The Department gives maximum priority to updated technical information, through office automation with a true internet and intranet environment.

INFRASTRUCTURE

The Department has well-equipped laboratories for Digital Simulation, Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, Control and Instrumentation, Circuit Devices and Measurements and an Electrical Workshop to cater to the needs of the age.

The Power Electronics laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art drives based on direct torque control for both AC and DC motors and interfaced with computers supported by requisite hardware and software.
