Information Technology (IT) | We are fully air-conditioned & equipped with the latest configured systems & adequate peripherals. In addition, we also possess separate laboratories furnished with the latest of computer equipment systems such as Windows – NT, LINUX and UNIX with Pentium – IV processor core servers and the nodes are also configured with Pentium based systems. Our systems handle features such as Electronic mail, Internet access, Student accounts, and Administrative computing needs.

OBJECTIVE
To provide a solid foundation in principles and practices of Information Technology to meet ever-changing technological and industry needs. The focus is on enhancing students' critical, analytical and problem-solving abilities to design and develop the systems and applications needed in the fields of information and communication technologies.
INFRASTRUCTURE
The Department has well-equipped laboratories for Programming Languages, Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), Multimedia and Graphics, Networking and Internet Applications.
SPECIAL FEATURES
All undergraduate students undergo a 6-week industrial training programme to get exposure to real world scenarios. Industrial visits and all-India educational tour also from a part of the programme.
PLACEMENT
The placement record of the department has been extremely good in the past several years. Leading and prominent employers include TCS, Cognizant Technologies, Wipro, Infosys and Satyam.
